5.7 Magnitude Quake Hits Metro Manila, Parts Of Luzon

A 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolts Luzon, including Metro Manila around 3:31 a.m. Sunday.

Phivolcs said aftershocks are expected from the quake.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), through its website, confirmed the epicenter was 13 kilometers south east of San Antonio town in Zambales, with a depth of 10 kilometers, tectonic in origin.

According to news report, intensity 4 was felt in the cities of Pasig, Pasay, Manila and Hagonoy town in Bulacan.

No casualty and damage to properties have been reported as of posting.
