Angel Locsin is Darna again

After her successful TV series “The Legal Wife”, Angel Locsin is set to hit the big screen with a remake of Mars Ravelo classic, Darna.

This is the second time that Angel will portray the Filipina superhero. She has played the role in the TV adaptation on GMA 7 that made her famous in 2005.  This makes her the first actress to play Darna on both TV and the movies.

Angel expressed her excitement reprising the coveted role. She said Darna has already become part of her and it would delight her to give life to the character again, this time, for the big screen.

Produced by Star Cinema, the film promises to showcase big special effects with the help of Reality Films to offer something new to the viewer.
