Eat Bulaga, the longest running noontime show on TV, is set to warm your hearts and make you reflect on life, love and sacrifices as they bring back their Lenten Special presentation.
6 stories will be presented starting March 30 until April 1, 2 episodes each day and will feature all the EB Dabarkads and some special guests.
On Holy Monday, child stars in their own generation Ryzza Mae Dizon and Aiza Seguerra will lead the cast in a story about sacrifice titled ‘Lukso ng Dugo”. She will be joined by Pia Guanio, Julia Clarette,and Ricky Davao. It is directed by Gina Alajar.
Another episode will feature Keempee de Leon and veteran actress Nova Villa in “Biro ng Kapalaran”. A story of love between a younger man and an older woman directed by Mark Reyes. Paolo Ballesteros and Jimmy Santos are also part of the episode.
Pauleen Luna will play the wife of Rocco Nacino in’Pangako ng Pag-ibig’. Directed by Jose Javier Reyes, the Holy Tuesday episode is a story about love and how much you’re willing to go through for the person you love. Also in the cast are Jaclyn Jose and Anjo Yllana.
Joey de Leon will topbill the story of love for family on Holy Tuesday ‘Pinagpalang Ama’ along with Ryan Agoncillo, Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo and Ms. Pilita Corales. It is directed by Bb Joyce Bernal.
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera will be joined by Bianca Umali, Ruby Rodriguez and Irma Adlawan in their Wednesday special “Aruga ng Puso” and is also directed by Bb Joyce Bernal.
Directed by Joel Lamangan, the second episode on Wednesday “Sukli ng Pagmamahal” will tell the story and sacrifices of a teacher portrayed by Vic Sotto and the love he gets in return from his students. Joining him in the cast are Sef Cadayona, Allan K, Ina Raymundo and Tito Sotto.
Eat Bulaga’s Lenten Special has been a long tradition of the program that started in 1981.
