Floyd Mayweather Beats Marcos Maidana

Floyd Mayweather improved his record to 47-0 after beating Marcos Maidana in their 1-round rematch.

It was unanimous decision as two judges, Dave Moretti and John McKaie, scored it 116-111 and the other, Guido Cavallerie, had it 115-112.

The fight was momentarily stopped in the eighth round when Mayweather complained that Maidana bit him on the wrist while the two were tied up. Maidana was penalised for tripping Mayweather in the 10th round.

Maidana drops his record to 35-5.
