Wet and Wild parties in Bacolod faces scrutiny

Wet and Wild parties in Bacolod faces scrutiny as a petition online calling to stop “wet and wild parties” in the City  of Bacolod is gaining support from the social media lately.

A certain Roselle Llac posted on www.change.org a petition urging the city government to “strongly enforce the Curfew Ordinance for Minors”, adding that the city should monitor party venues, penalize violators, and prohibit young people from entering party venues to protect them against “improper influences, hazards, and other circumstances prejudicial to their social and moral development.”
The petition is calling the attention of the city government through the Office of the City Mayor, the City Council, and the Business Permits and Licensing Division to “exercise prudence and proper regulation of weekend events to ensure that minors are barred from entering these event venues.”

The statement cited different weekend parties such as the Wet and Wild Party at SM City Bacolod, Lakawon Beach Party, and Wet and Party at HI-Residences staged during summer this year.

Wet and Wild parties in Bacolod petition has gained over 700 supports as of press time, and is currently in need of 4,222 more supports online.
